Kalinga University is a private university which was established in 2011, located in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The university is approved by University Grant Commission and is a member of the association of Indian universities. Kalinga University Admissions
Kalinga University(KU), Raipur, Chhattisgarh offers degree, diploma and integrated programmes at the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels. Programmes offered at KU are in the streams including – Medical & Health Sciences, Business & Management Studies, Engineering, IT & Software, Accounting & Commerce, Design, Science, Arts, Law and Mass Communication & Media.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses:
For admissions to UG programmes at KU, students must have passed 10+2 and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks(40% for SC/ST).
Aspirants will be considered for PG programmes at KU if they have completed their graduation(graduation with 3 year duration) with a minimum of 45% marks. Students belonging to SC and ST category will need a minimum of 40% for admissions.
Note: Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by Kalinga University for the course in which they wish to secure admission.
Admission Process:
Admissions to all the UG, PG and integrated programmes offered by Kalinga University, Chhattisgarh, is based on merit. Aspirants should ensure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria requirements for the course they are applying for.
Application Process for All Courses:
The application forms for admission to Kalinga University, Chhattisgarh, is available online as well as offline. Aspirants may obtain the preprinted form attached with the prospectus or download the same from the official website – www.Kalingauniversity.org. Students can obtain the application forms in person from the university reception by paying Rs. 500/- in cash or via demand draft in favor of Kalinga University payable at Raipur.
The downloaded form will be accepted with Rs. 500/- cash or demand draft as above mentioned.
Students must attach notarized or attested (from a Gazetted officer) photocopies of all eligibility certificates with their application forms. Check details below:
- UG Programmes: Copy of X, XII Mark Cards & Migration Certificate/ Transfer Certificate
- PG Programmes: Copy of X , XII, Graduation Certificate (all 3 years Marksheet, Degree/Provisional Degree) & Migration Certificates
Students would need a passport size photograph of less than 2 MB to fill the form. Image should be between 400×400 and 2048×2048 pixels. Allowed file types: png gif jpg jpeg.
Admission Cycle
The schedule for 2017 admissions will be updated soon. However, admissions for all courses typically happen from December to May.
International Student Admissions
Kalinga University(KU), Chhattisgarh offers admissions to students belonging from Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Srilankan, Afghanistan & African nationals. Only selective courses are offered to international students applying for admissions to KU. Check the list of courses offered to these students.
